On Sunday 15 September 2013 the Holy Relic of Saint Hope, daughter of Saint Sophia, was brought by fathers from the New Brotherhood of Esphigmenou Monastery on Mount Athos to the Sacred Church of Saint Sophia in Piraeus, where it was venerated by hundreds of faithful and a vigil was celebrated.
