According to information, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will be visiting the island of the Apocalypse [Patmos] this coming September.
The information mentions that this visit will take place this coming September, with the purpose of the canonization of Elder Amphilochios Makris (+ 1970), but also to visit the Monastery of Patmos.
The Primate of Orthodoxy will visit the island for two days, while this planned visit will be his first in years to the Monastery of Patmos.
