With particular brilliance as befits the great Apostle Paul, the patron and founder of the Church of Corinth and illuminator of Greece and the entire inhabited world, he was celebrated on June 29th at the Bema where he stood trial before Gallio as well as the Cathedral that bears his name in Corinth.
A Multi-Hierarchical Great Vespers took place in the evening of June 28th at the Bema of Gallio in Ancient Corinth. The Apostle Paul stood trial on this very Bema and stayed in Corinth for a year and a half teaching the faithful. The next morning Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Apostle Paul.
