I have an amazing little booklet available I wanted to offer to my readers for purchase which would make especially great reading for Great Lent. Recently I was commissioned to translate some beneficial writings of Righteous Alexei Mechev, but it didn't fall through and I was left with a bunch of booklets I would like to now sell instead of counting my losses. Please order today!

Holy Martyr Serapion the New

St. Serapion the New (Feast Day - July 12)

Verses

Serapion having drank of the sacrifice of Christ,
Was thrown into the fire by the enemies of Christ.

He lived during the reign of Emperor Severus (193-211), and was a man who feared God and who possessed good will. Being arrested by the governor Aquila, he was asked: "To what religion do you belong?" With boldness he confessed that he believed in and revered Christ. For this he was cast into the flames, and received from the Lord the crown of martyrdom.
