The Holy New Hieromartyr Athanasios of Sparta in Attaleia (mod. Antalya) was a priest and martyred in Mudanya in the year 1653. No other details are known of his life. A Canon was composed in his honor by Meletios Syrigos, according to Saint Nikodemos in his New Martyrology.
